Dear Ebe,

Then tell your lawyer that he is completely wasting my time. Is he some kind of moron? Under NO circumstances will I send $2000.00 of my own money without PROOF that this fund exists. What kind of training did the lawyer receive? He has absolutely no idea whatsoever about correct business practice. And also, what kind of a lawyer sends email from a free Yahoo account? Surely he should have his own business email. Again this is a very amateur way to conduct business.

Mr. Ebe, the matter of my trusting you is not in question here. I do trust you. The person that I do NOT trust is your lawyer. Without documentative proof from him that these funds exist then our business is at an end. Tell your lawyer I am no fool. I deal with money transactions nearly every day of the week, and I can tell you 100% that what your lawyer is asking is 100% illegal, and most probably 100% dishonest.

You must now inform your lawyer that because of his amateur and probably illegal actions, he is preventing you from getting what you rightly deserve. My advice to you is to get rid of this lawyer because he just does not have the necessary business acumen to complete this deal.

I shall repeat myself for one final time. Absolutely no money will be sent until the lawyer can send me proof that these funds exist.

Sincerely,

Plunder.

Dear Plunder,

Its my pleasure to write you this letter and to reach you in good condition of health and have a self consideration to my asking for your assistnace.

Plunder, we have gone along way by sending mails and by sending my picture to you as you authorized me to do by holding a sign and say i take it up the arse and i did that as a strong proof that this is not a faded or fake deal.

And it has also come a long way that you got a clear picture and the sign i sent and then you went ahead to ask on how the money can be send. Unfortunately an error and mistake came on by the mail i sent you stating that i need $200 instead of $2000 to transact the deal and which i know it was a mistake and it will be hard to convince you that its not a mistake and then you went ahead to ask for document if the said money is really existing.

Plunder, i have been honest and sincere to you. I have humble myself and proof clear to you that this is a real deal by even send my picture with a sign . That even makes it a real proof Plunder. For the document the lawyer can not do anything now unstill the money is paid to him. Plunder i don't think you trust me if you do the picture i sent you have a real proof that this is a real deal.

Plunder, please i plead and i know how you feel but this is taking so long Plunder. If you trusted me as i do trust you $2000 is not a thing we will have to get deals delay. The picture i sent you Plunder has more prooff. Think about it Plunder and think about all i have been trying to do to have this deal work for good.Plunder if we don't pay the lawyer he can't get access to the document or to have access to transact the money.

Plunder , you have to think about it please you are the only hope in this deal and don't think you are a fool no one is a fool but the deal is dying slowly. Please Mr Plunder you have to think about it and let the transaction commence. please Plunder for my sake and the sake of the deal and the sake of honesty and sincerity please try and do something about the money so the deal will commence.

Plunder you have been a honest man too please don't let $2000 wield us back please. I will be very grateful if this letter is well considered.

Yours friend
Ebe.

Dear Ebe.

Answer me this HONESTLY. Turn around this situation. Just for a moment pretend that it is ME asking YOU for $2000. Now, would you send me $2000 without ANY evidence this fund exists? Would you just send $2000 to someone on the other side of the world that you have never met? No, I do not think you would.

Here is my FINAL proposition. Either get the lawyer to send me the documents I require OR to show trust (as it works BOTH ways) send me $20 (Twenty Dollars) cash by post.

I will send the $2000 if you do one of these two things.

This is my final offer to you. I will not accept any more excuses from your lawyer. I WILL NOT involve myself in your lawyers ILLEGAL demands. Your lawyer would be arrested if he tried the same stunt here in the UK. In fact, your lawyer sounds like a criminal to me.

The offer above is my last offer.

Sincerely,

Plunder.

Hello Plunder,

Thanka for your letter and am quite grateful you wrote back and all you have said is definately true but i have tried in all way to make sure everything is good but it never seems t work well to the way i wanted it.

For the document i dont think the lawyer can be reachable to it because hye don't even have access to the document thats the problem now if no that i would have troubled him to give it to me.

You have two options on ground now either id or leave. Well i will take on one option thats the sending of $20 and whats your postal address? Plunder this have been too lng and hard for me but for bnusiness sake one had to do it but not at the long run one will then get blame to be shamed as a fool.

I will have to do that as soon as i get the address. So whats your number Plunder? its hard time we hear each other voice on phone we have gone along way. Thanks and hope things work out well.

Yours friend
Ebe.

Dear Ebe,

Thank you for your quick response. I apologise if I seemed impatient in my last email, but I really do not trust your lawyers methods, and it seems to me he has some other agenda. Perhaps it is my many years in business that has made me so suspicious.

My business address is below. Please address the letter to my personal secretary Miss Nancy Spungen. As I am very busy I only spend a few hours in my office during the week. I will give Nancy strict instructions to contact me immediately that your letter arrives. I would urge you to tell whoever sends the money to enclose it inside a birthday card or something like that. Also, if you can send it by Priority Mail we can get on quickly with the business of sending the $2000 fee rather than waiting many days for the standard post to arrive.

Business headquarters are as follows:

XXXX
XXXXXX
XXXXXXX
XXXXX
United Kingdom

Once your letter is received I will be happy to call you personally on the telephone.

Please inform me immediately your representative sends the payment so that I can alert my secretary.

Kind regards,

Plunder.

[Against all odds, THE CASH ARRIVES! Amazingly Steve was telling the truth - about the $20 at least - and on Monday I receive a letter containing a card and a $20 note. Steve also had to pay a postal charge of 2940 Nigerian Naira, which is approximately $21.50 Dollars, making a total amount extracted from a scammer of $41.50 (UK £22.50). Who says Christmas comes only once a year?!]

Dear Steve,

Good news! My secretary Nancy Spungen telephoned me this afternoon to tell me your letter had arrived. I am presently in Scotland, London presenting a long service award to one of my employees and will not be back in my London office until tomorrow evening. I will contact you again as soon as I return.

I cannot confirm that the money is in the letter as I have given my secretary strict instructions not to open any letters from your country. I want to keep our deal as secret as possible you see. I will check the contents tomorrow and email you immediately.

Kind regards,

Plunder.

[Time to give Steve a well deserved pat on the back]

From: Mr. Plunder Myknuts
To: Steve Ebe

Dear Steve,

I am happy to report that your package did indeed contain the $20.

May I take this opportunity to thank you personally for all the trouble you have gone to, and now my mind is completely settled. I am most happy to proceed with this deal, and I am certain the outcome with be most beneficial.

I have some questions for you Steve. Please would you contact your lawyer and ask him if he can look more closely into the processing of these funds. You see I have to go on a business trip to Bulgaria in Florida very soon, but first I would like to get these funds processed. Can you ask your lawyer if there may be any further charges he can envisage? I do not want to have to pay the $2000 and then find I have to wait longer to receive the funds. If you could please ask your lawyer to calculate the entire cost of this transaction then that would be very helpful.

Being a businessman I know that costs for such large transfers can escalate quite rapidly, and I would rather pay extra now than have to be delayed. Perhaps it would be better for me to withdraw maybe $10,000 and fly over to meet with your lawyer to handle the movement of the funds in person? That way if there are to be any additional charges I can pay them immediately and in cash?

Let me know your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Plunder Myknuts.

[Terrible news - I'm dead! The dentist wanted to extract more than just my teeth]

From: Miss Nancy Spungen
To: Steve Ebe

Dear Mr. Ebe,

My name is Miss Nancy Spungen and I am the private secretary to Plunder Myknuts.

Sir I am afraid I have very terrible news. As I write I am in tears and I am very wet. My wonderful boss Plunder Myknuts was murdered yesterday morning. Plunder was attacked by his dentist, and the police think that the motive for his killing was to steal the $2000 that he had taken out of the bank for you. I just do not know what to do.

The police advised me to contact everyone who Mr. Myknuts had been speaking with over the past few weeks to give them all the terrible news.

Mr. Ebe, the police asked me what Plunder was doing with the $2000 so I had to tell them that it was a payment to you for a business deal. I could not tell them what the business deal was becasue Plunder kept it very secret from me. He just told me that it was a very important deal that is all.

The police have taken the money away as evidence but they have told me that they will return it to me next week. I know that Plunder would want me to make sure you received the money so I will try to see if it is possible to send it to you once the police have returned it to me. It was a horrible sight. The money was covered in Plunder's blood and his teeth were everywhere. The sight of poor plunder in the dentist chair is one that will never leave my mind.

I have attached a news clipping from this mornings newspaper which contained a report on Plunder's murder. Hopefully this will explain a few more things for you.

I hope you will understand that there will be a slight delay to get the $2000 to you Mr. Ebe. Unfortunately I cannot do anything more until the police give me back the money.

I have to make arrangements for Plunder's funeral now, and I expect it to take place on Monday or Tuesday next week. Plunder has asked in his Will that he be cremated. I will try to send you some photographs of the funeral service if possible.

I must go now.

A tragic end.
