Hall of Shame
Showcasing the worst fake photos from scammers who thought they could fool us

Welcome to the Hall of Shame!
As any veteran Scambaiter will tell you, it's relatively easy to spot a dodgy 419 "advance fee fraud" scam email. However, sometimes the scammers try to add legitimacy to their cause by sending what they claim to be their own photographs.
What you see here is not exactly what the scammers intended to convey! From the sublime to the ridiculous, from the lazy to the fanciful, from the blatantly obvious to the downright insulting, this little lot really will make you either laugh or cry at how people are expected to fall for such scams.
Not all scammers send photos with their emails (and some do send real photos of themselves), but the ones featured here really did think that these efforts would help them make their scam more believable!
It should be noted that all these photos were sent to us "in good faith" by scammers as part of their 419 scam attempt.
WARNING!
Some of these photographs contain mature content and language. Although we have tried to present these images in such a way that they are suitable for general viewing by people of all ages, some of the scammer's own photos or language may offend.
Please Also Note
Although these photographs were all sent to us as part of real 419 scam attempts, not everyone featured in these photographs is necessarily a scammer. Many of these pictures could very well be innocent people whose photographs have been abused by the real scammers without their knowledge or permission.
